The 2022 MLB season has come to a conclusion, meaning front offices around the league are now going to start shifting attention to offseason free agents. 131 players were officially declared as free agents on Sunday, including two Detroit Tigers pros that made an impact this past season.

Detroit's list of free agents includes starting catcher Tucker Barnhart and veteran pitcher Daniel Norris.

Barnhart joined the team in via an offseason trade before making 94 appearances behind the dish. The nine-year MLB veteran slashed .221/.287/.267 alongside 16 RBIs.

Norris signed with the Tigers in July after his release from the Chicago Cubs. The veteran appeared in 14 games (28.2 innings pitched) and put together a 3.45 ERA.

Detroit's front office has a lot of work to do this offseason coming off a 96-loss season. As it stands, Tigers hold lengthy +7000 odds to win the 2023 World Series on FanDuel Sportsbook.
