Injuries have plagued the Minnesota Twins this season and brought their record down to one of the worst in the majors. Well, it doesn't look like things are clearing up on that front anytime soon.

Pitcher Randy Dobnak is headed to the injured list with a finger sprain.

Randy Dobank Injury Update

Dobank has been placed on the 10-day IL, retroactive to June 21. That means he could be back in a week, on July 1, although it's unclear right now how serious the sprain is.

Dobnak was actually scheduled to start on Friday against the Cleveland Indians before being placed on IL. Perhaps some time off could so him some good. He's struggled so far this year, going just 1-6 across 13 games and 5 starts. He owns a 7.83 ERA across 43.2 innings pitched along with 25 strikeouts so far.

Minnesota currently has a 31-43 record, which ties them for the sixth-worst mark across the majors. They may be serious sellers as the MLB Trade Deadline approaches.
