Top Fantasy Football Streaming Tight Ends for Week 10 With Evan Engram Ruled Out

The tight end position looks to be really strong at the top this season, but once we get beyond the elite fantasy producers, there's a ton of variance.
With such inconsistency, there aren't many players that you can consider locks as weekly starters. Instead, fantasy football owners can find an edge by combing the waiver wire for the TEs with the best matchups to get into your starting lineup each week.
Now that Evan Engram has been ruled out in Week 10, you might need to find a replacement on the waiver wire. These three tight ends, all owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues, are the top streaming options for Week 10.
3. Jonnu Smith, Tennessee Titans (34% Owned)
Jonnu Smith has played north of 70 percent of the Tennessee Titans' offensive snaps with Delanie Walker on the shelf in each of the last three games, notching 15 targets in that time. That workload has translated to an average of 11.3 PPR fantasy points per game, and while he doesn't bring a ton of upside that does make him a viable option against the Kansas City Chiefs. KC has allowed the 10th-most PPR points per game to opposing tight ends.
2. Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts (38% Owned)
The Miami Dolphins' defense has been abysmal in 2019, ranking dead last in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA rankings (both overall and against the pass). Jack Doyle has only notched double-digit fantasy points three times in 2019, but he's done it in each of his last two games and isn't likely to slow down in a matchup this favorable.
1. O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (36% Owned)
If you drafted O.J. Howard in the middle rounds this year, you may have already sworn off him forever, thanks to his average of 4.8 PPR fantasy points per game. But this week you should make an exception. He's returning from a two-game injury absence and gets the best matchup imaginable. The Arizona Cardinals are getting destroyed by tight ends, conceding by far the most fantasy points per game to the position. They're giving up 7.1 receptions, 90.0 yards and 1.0 touchdowns on 9.2 targets per game to opposing TEs. No other team allows averages above even 85.0 yards or 0.8 TDs on a per-game basis. Cameron Brate was limited to just 11 snaps with a rib injury in Week 9, so Howard could see more volume than usual. Howard sits at TE8 in our Week 10 PPR fantasy football rankings.
