Defensive scoring in fantasy football depends more on weekly matchups than maybe any other position. There are very few true, every-week starting options out there, and all but the absolute worst defenses can be viable if they're in the right matchup.

Every week there are plenty of defenses worth starting that are available on the waiver wire, and it pays to be vigilant in keeping up with the best weekly plays at the position.

With that said, here are the top three fantasy football streaming defenses for Week 13, all of which are available in at least 50 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues.

3. Philadelphia Eagles at Miami Dolphins (42% Owned)

Targeting the Miami Dolphins with fantasy defenses continues to provide great returns, and Miami has now allowed the league's most fantasy points per game to opponents at the position. The Philadelphia Eagles' defense has been nothing special, sitting tied for 14th in fantasy production, but they've dropped double-digit points in two of their last four, and the only other time they played an offense giving up top-five fantasy production they dropped a ridiculous 35 fantasy points against the New York Jets.

2. Dallas Cowboys vs Buffalo Bills (35% Owned)

The Dallas Cowboys have done a great job getting at opposing QBs this year, with a pressure (sack, hurry or QB knockdown) on 26.9 percent of drop backs, which is tied for seventh in the NFL. They are 6.5-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook for a Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Buffalo Bills, and that means the Bills will likely be forced into plenty of obvious passing situations while playing from behind, giving that pass rush ample opportunity to work.

1. Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins (35% Owned)

The Carolina Panthers defense has struggled over the last few weeks, but they've also dealt with tough matchups against the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers in that time. This week things get much easier, taking on a Washington Redskins team that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to defenses. Washington's 9.7 percent sack rate allowed is the fourth highest in the NFL, and starting QB Dwayne Haskins has thrown six interceptions to just two touchdowns while getting sacked 17 times in 125 drop backs this season. The Panthers defense pressures at an above-average rate (23.4 percent) and have the sixth-highest takeaway rate in the NFL (13.9 percent), so they should have no trouble bouncing back to take advantage of this matchup.
