In case you thought the sports world couldn't get any crazier, Tuesday morning Tom Brady announced his intention to leave the New England Patriots.

Even with rumors swirling, he was viewed as a near-lock to return early in the offseason. The odds then continued to fluctuate, both plummeting and climbing again in free agency.

Now that his departure is all but official, the betting odds for his landing spot have changed drastically. With that in mind, here are the three favorites to sign Brady for the 2020 season, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

3. Miami Dolphins (+750)

The Miami Dolphins have their veteran presence in Ryan Fitzpatrick, and picking at No. 5 they're likely to land either Tua Tagovailoa or Justin Herbert. That explains why they're not higher on the list, but they have enough ammunition to rebuild quickly, especially after managing a surprisingly high 5 wins after blowing up their entire roster in 2019. Brady could provide them some stability for a year or two while their first-round QB gets time to develop in the pros.

2. Los Angeles Chargers (+160)

The Los Angeles Chargers have lost a long-term starting QB of their own this offseason, and a return to California would be a natural fit for Brady. The Chargers finished a disappointing 5-11 in 2019, but this is a team loaded with talent that could realistically become a playoff contender with Brady at the helm. Picking one spot after Miami, they could also have bring in a top QB prospect to learn under Brady for a season or two.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-220)

The overwhelming favorites after seeing their odds surge recently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been rumored to be making a strong push for Brady. They don't have a young QB waiting in the wing or a high draft pick to use on one, but they're loaded with offensive weapons like Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Tampa Bay also boasts a defense that checked in at fifth in Football Outsiders' DVOA metric in 2019. With Brady at the helm, this team could be in Super Bowl contention next season.
