Titans to Host Top Wide Receiver Prospect for Visit Before NFL Draft

The Tennessee Titans addressed their need for a dynamic wide receiver to pair with AJ Brown when they traded for veteran Roberts Woods. They may not be done making moves, though. The Titans are reportedly set to host projected first-round pick Treylon Burks for a visit prior to the 2022 NFL Draft.

Titans NFL Draft
Burks is ranked as one of the best WRs in this draft class thanks to his smooth route-running skills and elite elusiveness after the catch. The former Arkansas standout racked up 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns on 66 receptions during his junior season with the Razorbacks (12 games played).
It's worth noting that Burks has even been compared to Brown during the draft process. That shouldn't come as a major shock given both players possess above average speed for their size and excel at hauling in contested passes. Having the duo on the same roster would be a scary sight.
The Titans currently own the No. 26 overall draft pick and it's certainly possible Burks is still available once Tennessee is on the clock. Allowing the 22-year-old to take on the majority of the outside snaps would give Woods an opportunity to thrive in the slot position for quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
Burks is also set to meet with the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers among other interested teams. No matter what, it looks like the young pass-catcher should prepare to hear his name called early on. The 2022 NFL Draft is set to get underway on Thursday, April 28.
