The Tennessee Titans' 2022 season has gotten off to a terrible start. After earning the No. 1 seed in the AFC last season, Mike Vrabel's team has started this year 0-2 after a disappointing Week 1 home loss to the New York Giants and then being on the wrong end of an absolute blowout against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2.

Believe it or not, things just got much worse for the Titans before they even play their Week 3 game against the 0-2 Las Vegas Raiders. Their initial fears have been realized and starting tackle Taylor Lewan is officially out for the season after suffering a knee injury in the loss to the Bills.

Taylor Lewan Injury Update

Lewan has struggled to stay on the field the last few years due to various injuries. He hasn't come close to playing a full season since 2018, averaging just 10 games per season from 2019-2021.

This is a huge loss for a Tennessee offense that is struggling to move the ball. Neither Ryan Tannehill nor Derrick Henry has looked close to themselves early on this season, and losing their best offensive lineman surely won't help turn that around.

Dennis Daley will likely step into Lewan's left tackle role moving forward, and he'll be faced with the tough task of replacing a three-time Pro Bowler.

Daley will try to help the Titans earn their first win of the season as 1.5-point home underdogs against the Raiders in Week 3 on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
