Though the Milwaukee Brewers' 2022 campaign is over, there's still some members of the organization in action. Several of the team's top prospects are currently participating in the Arizona Fall League, getting valuable reps against other talented youngsters.
It turns out the Brewers will be well-represented at the AFL All-Star Game this Sunday.
Three of Milwaukee's prospects will participate in the showcase. Catcher Jeferson Quero, infielder Zavier Warren and pitcher Abner Uribe were all named "Fall Stars" following their starts to the AFL season.
The 19-year-old Quero has been productive over his first 11 games, racking up 8 hits, 3 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. Many are excited to see what the Brewers' current No. 7 prospect develops into.
Warren, who played primarily third base for High-A and Double-A this past season, is hitting the ball very well in the fall league. He's slashing .352/.507/.463 with 19 hits, 1 home run and 13 RBIs across 17 appearances.
Uribe, meanwhile, has been nearly lights out in a reliver role for Glendale. He's only allowed 1 earned run in 9.0 innings and recorded 12 strikeouts so far.
Milwaukee's farm system is one of the biggest reasons to be optimistic about this team bouncing back in 2023, and their youth is certainly showing what they're made of in the Arizona Fall League. Brewers fans can catch Quero, Warren and Urbibe in action on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. ET on MLB Network.
