The Tennessee Volunteers have lost three of their last four meetings with the South Carolina Gamecocks, but it looks like the oddsmakers believe that 2020 marks the year that this recent pattern comes to an end.

Even with the 2020 college football offseason experiencing some unprecedented scheduling changes and cancellations, the odds and spreads for this week's upcoming slate of SEC season openers are now available onFanDuel Sportsbook.

Tennessee vs South Carolina Odds 2020

Sitting less than one week away from the 39th all-time matchup between these two programs, Tennessee has already opened as a slight 3.5-point favorite to beat South Carolina on the road in Columbia this weekend, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Even though the Vols won the most recent head-to-head matchup with the Gamecocks last year, Tennessee has struggled on the road. South Carolina has won six of the last 10 meetings in this series, including five of the last six played at home in Columbia.

There's still plenty of time for the odds to shift between now and this Week 4 SEC kickoff, but the Vols remain early favorites for the time being. Barring any scheduling changes, South Carolina is currently set to host Tennessee at Williams-Brice Stadium at 7:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020.
