Super Bowl Ticket Prices Reaching Staggering Heights Already

Shockingly high Super Bowl ticket prices are nothing new, but with ticket prices for other playoff games soaring, things are getting crazy for Super Bowl LV.

Limited capacity in stadiums due to the COVID-19 pandemic means that supply of tickets is at an all-time low, sending the value of those tickets through the roof.

Even with the Super Bowl matchup not yet set, Gametime reports that the cheapest tickets for Super Bowl LV are going for $8,424 per seat. The most expensive Super Bowl tickets have climbed as high as $17,738.

That means some fans will be paying as much as $3.50 per second of game time.

The Super Bowl has always been one of the year's marquee events, and with prices like this it's certainly going to be a highly exclusive event in 2021.
