As if integrating a rookie quarterback isn't already hard enough, the Pittsburgh Steelers' offense may be without several critical pieces on Sunday as well.

A couple of new names were added to Pittsburgh's Week 5 injury report, which doesn't bode well for their impending matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Pittsburgh Steelers Injury Report

Thursday's injury report revealed that top Steelers wideout Diontae Johnson is dealing with a hip injury. That's a troubling sign for Pittsburgh's passing attack, as Johnson leads the team in targets (37) and receptions (23) while ranking second in receiving yards (207).

Center Mason Cole also appeared on the injury report with a foot issue. Centers are imperative to helping the offense run smoothly, so losing him would be a significant blow as well.

Thankfully, both practice in a limited fashion on Thursday, which gives them a good shot to play on Sunday as long as they don't suffer any setbacks on Friday. They'll be needed if Pittsburgh is going to upset Buffalo in Kenny Pickett's first NFL start. With so many obstacles to overcome, it's not surprising to see the 1-3 Steelers pegged as 14-point road underdogs against the 3-1 Bills on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
