In Week 10, the Los Angeles Rams took care of business off their bye week, defeating the Seattle Seahawks, 23-16. While this in itself is impressive, their ability to shut Russell Wilson down is noteworthy for both their defense and head coach Sean McVay.

In fact, it's not the first time McVay has completely shut down Wilson. So, is it possible he has Wilson's number?

Wilson entered the game as the leading MVP candidate, passing for 28 touchdown through eight games. McVay and the Rams found a way to keep Wilson out of the end zone altogether. Of Wilson's 137 career games, this has happened just 17 times. For some reason, five of these occurrences were against the Rams.

This also marked back-to-back games that the Rams have kept Wilson out of the end zone, while intercepting him three times, forcing two fumbles and recovering one. A big reason for this is their ability to get pressure on the talented quarterback, sacking him 11 times over these two games.

Since McVay has taken over as head coach of the Rams, Wilson only has a 2-5 record against the team. With a Week 16 rematch coming, will the trend continue?
