If it were up to the New York Jets players, quarterback Aaron Rodgers would be their starting quarterback at the start of the 2023 regular season. Unfortunately, the situation is a bit more complicated for the Green Bay Packers and everyone else involved. But that won't stop the franchise's stars from recruiting Rodgers to New York.

Cornerback Sauce Gardner recently weighed in on the Rodgers saga and hinted at a trade going down this offseason.

"I can't speak on it too too much. But I know a little something about something..." said Gardner.

Gardner has probably been the most vocal Jets player in this recruitment phase. He's openly commented on his wishes to see Rodgers in New York. Will the defensive star's recruitment tactics work?

That's up for Rodgers and the Packers to decide.
