Saquon Barkley is one of only eight RBs averaging more than 18 PPR fantasy points per game in 2019, and that average jumps to 20.2 per game in his five full contests.
That average is on pace to take a serious hit in Week 10, as he turned in just 1.6 PPR fantasy points in the first half against the New York Jets.
As always, the volume has been there for Barkley. He notched eight carries and one target in the half, but he only managed to turn that into eight yards on the ground while losing two yards on his lone reception.
On paper this looked like a promising matchup, as the Jets' defense has been below-average, ranking 18th in Football Outsiders' DVOA rankings this season.
With Barkley still seeing solid usage he has a good chance of a second-half bounce-back in Week 10. Even if he falls flat, his consistently strong workload means there's no need to downgrade his fantasy ranking much, even ahead of a tough Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears.
