The Miami Dolphins will be without quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday as he has tested positive for COVID-19. It was Fitzpatrick that entered the game late last week and led the Dolphins to a dramatic victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Dolphins are looking to secure a spot in the NFL playoffs and will now rely solely on rookie Tua Tagovailoa. This news obviously boosts his fantasy outlook in Week 17.

Tua Tagovailoa Fantasy Outlook

Tagovailoa has had a solid rookie season so far completing 151 of 232 passes (65.1%) for 1,453 yards and 10 touchdowns in eight games started. He has also proven to be a capable runner as he has 3 rushing touchdowns on the season, which have all come within the last three weeks.

He draws a decent matchup in Week 17 as the Bills' defense has ranked right in the middle of the pack all season. Tagovailoa may be able to expose them with his feet as they have given up 7 rushing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks this season, which is the third-highest total in the NFL.

This is Tagovailoa's game to go out and prove he has what it takes to be the team's starter heading into the postseason. He could be in for a big day and is a solid streaming option this week.
