The Baltimore Ravens ranked among the bottom 10 NFL teams in terms of sacks and pressure rate last season. The front office remains in search of pass rushing help and fans will be excited to hear that the team is hosting defensive end Rasheem Green for a free agent meeting.

Ravens News

Green is coming off the best season of his career in which he racked up 48 tackles (6 for loss) and 6.5 sacks. He also logged an impressive 15 quarterback hits and 4 pass breakups in 17 games played. Green's ascension to being a reliable starter makes it easy to see why Baltimore is interested in him.

The Seattle Seahawks originally drafted Green in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and the fact that he is only 24 years old has to be intriguing for the Ravens. It's possible 2021 was just a glimpse into what Green is fully capable of considering it was the first time he started more than eight games.

Of course, the Ravens had an agreement with edge rusher Za'Darius Smith before he ended up backing out to sign a more lucrative deal with the Minnesota Vikings. The team is also reportedly hosting Arden Key for a visit after he finished the 2021 season with 6.5 sacks in San Francisco.

Baltimore is rumored to be targeting a defensive lineman with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft as well. No matter what, it looks like the Ravens are making it a priority to upgrade their pass rush. They currently have odds set at +2100 to win Super Bowl 57, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
