Ravens Get Crushing Lamar Jackson Injury Update Ahead of Crucial Game

Baltimore Ravens fans have been looking forward to this weekend for weeks. Not only is it Christmas on Sunday, but the Ravens were also expected to get Lamar Jackson back from his knee injury on Christmas Eve.
Instead, Baltimore got coal in its stocking with Jackson's latest injury update.

Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced on Thursday that Jackson will not be available for Saturday's game against the Atlanta Falcons after all, putting backup QB Tyler Huntley in line for a third straight start.
The news isn't terribly surprising given that Jackson hasn't practiced this week, but it's still disappointing nevertheless. Saturday's game has major playoff implications for Baltimore, which is currently second in the AFC North at 9-5, just one game behind the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Ravens are just 2-4 during Huntley's career as a starter and squandered a postseason berth last year after Jackson went down with a late-season injury, so the team is trying to avoid a similar fate this season. Thankfully for them, the Falcons are 5-9 after losing five of their last six games and are starting a rookie quarterback in Desmond Ridder.
Even with Jackson out, Baltimore is still listed as a 6-point home favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
