After an injury-riddled rookie campaign, Rashod Bateman is off to a terrific start in his second NFL season. He paces the team with 167 receiving yards and 2 TDs through the first two weeks of the season and has cemented himself as a favorite and reliable target for quarterback Lamar Jackson.

That's why concern immediately rose when Ravens reported indicated Bateman's absence from Friday's practice.

Fortunately, the Ravens quickly cleared the air on this absence.

Rashod Bateman Week 3

Head coach John Harbaugh reported Bateman is not dealing with any sort of injury, but rather a personal issue. He'll still play on Sunday.

Bateman and his squad will look to bounce back from a gut-punch loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 2. They'll have a chance to exact revenge against a different AFC East opponent when they visit the New England Patriots in Foxborough, MA.

As it stands, the Ravens enter this Week 3 clash as 2.5-point road favorites per NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
