Rangers Spring Training Lineup
Right-hander Glenn Otto will be on the bump for Texas. The 26-year-old is looking to build off a solid rookie season that saw him go 7-10 with a 4.64 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP in 27 starts.
The starting lineup features the Rangers' All-Star double-play tandem of Marcus Semien and Corey Seager at the top, followed by Silver Slugger winner Nathaniel Lowe in the three-hole. Former All-Star Adolis Garcia will bat cleanup with Silver Slugger recipient Mitch Garver hitting fifth at DH.
New addition Robbie Grossman will bat sixth and play left field, while Josh Jung will hit seventh and man the hot corner. Leody Taveras will play center and bat eighth, with veteran catcher Sandy Leon hitting ninth.
It's a potent lineup to be sure, especially in the top half. When your first five hitters have either been an All-Star or won a Silver Slugger, you're in pretty good shape.
