The Philadelphia Phillies welcomed the Atlanta Braves to Citizens Bank Park in rude fashion during Game 3 of the NLDS. It was a convincing 9-1 offensive outburst, led by a pair of home runs from Rhys Hoskins and Bryce Harper.
Philadelphia now heads into Game 4 with an opportunity to take home the series and send the defending World Series champions home packing. And despite the offense clicking on Friday, manager Rob Thomson opted for some tweaks to Saturday's lineup.
Phillies Game 4 Lineup
The top of the lineup holds steady from Kyle Schwarber batting leadoff and playing in left field down to Alec Bohm at third in the six spot. Shortstop Bryson Stott moves up from the nine hole to bat behind Bohm, while Jean Segura and Brandon Marsh swapped spots in the order. Marsh struck out twice batting behind Bohm in Game 3, while Stott collected one hit and one RBI in his 4 ABs.
They are small changes, but ones that Thomson must believe will result in some equal run production. They'll face Braves starter Charlie Morton, who enters the matchup with a 4.34 ERA in 2022.
As is stands, the Phillies are considered slight underdogs ahead of first pitch scheduled for 2:07 p.m. ET. FanDuel Sportsbook's MLB odds show Philadelphia as +110 home underdogs.
