Including Tuesday night's tilt against the Washington Nationals, catcher J.T. Realmuto will have missed three of the Philadelphia Phillies' past five games.

The three-time All-Star backstop was listed out of Philadelphia's starting lineup again on Tuesday as he continues to struggle with ankle and shoulder issues. It's a worse-case scenario from a timing perspective. Philadelphia remains just 3.5-games back in the NL East standings with a month left in the 2021 MLB regular season.

J.T. Realmuto Injury Update

The injury bug has been a bit of an issue for Philadelphia's catcher all season. The Gold Glove winner has appeared in 106 of 131 possible games, but still ranks fourth on the team in home runs (14) and RBIs (58).

Philadelphia will play the NL East-leading Atlanta Braves for just one three-game set before season's end, but this division is still very much up for grabs. Currently, the Phillies own +460 odds to win the division on FanDuel Sportsbook.
