PGA Golfers to Watch for The Honda Classic on FanDuel Sportsbook
By FairwayJay

The Florida Swing begins with The Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Six of the top 25 in the world and 12 of the top 55 take a swing at the par 70 PGA National Champion Course.
Golf Predictions This Week
While the favorites like Sungjae Im (+1300), Daniel Berger (+1600) and last week's Genesis Invitational winner Joaquin Niemann (+1600) will get plenty of attention on FanDuel Sportsbook, here are three players to watch with longer golf odds who could top the leaderboard come Sunday.
Golfers to Watch
1. Aaron Wise (+4600)
Wise is a Florida resident with bags of talent who struggles on and around the greens. He finished 13th in last year's Honda event after shooting 64-64 to hold the 36-hole lead. Over his last 12 rounds at PGA National, his Strokes Gained stats rank top-5 in Approach and top-15 in Ball Striking and Tee-to-Green. He did not play as well out west recently, but he's done better in tougher scoring conditions. Wise played well enough in two other appearances in this event and could make a move as he finds his strong year-end form from 2021.
2. Chris Kirk (+7000)
Kirk has 32 rounds at PGA National, and his strokes gained stats are pretty solid across the board ranking top-40 and also top-20 in Approach and Short Game. He finished 25th here last year, and enters off a solid event in Phoenix with a top-15 finish gaining in all strokes gained facets. He plays and scores better on bermuda courses, and he ranks second on the field to only Daniel Berger in total strokes gained on courses with bermudagrass. A top-10 finish returns +600 and top-20 pays +270 odds.
3. Matt NeSmith (+12000)
NeSmith is another with winning course form here from his junior days, and also in his 8 recent rounds finishing top-40 the last two years and ranking top-25 in Tee-to-Green, Ball Striking and Around-the-Green. A top-20 finish this time returns +550.
