The Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay Packers drama has ruled the NFL's storylines this offseason. With their star quarterback clearly unhappy, it's anybody's guess if Rodgers will don the green and yellow next season.

Peter King placed his own bet (figuratively) on the situation in his recent "Football Morning in America" newsletter. If anything, his thoughts could be summed up with one word: pessimistic.

In the newsletter, King revealed his current NFL power rankings with explanations for each team. The Packers came in at No. 8, which is exciting for Green Bay fans, but King revealed his serious doubts about Rodgers' future.

"Ultimate hedging-my-bet on Aaron Rodgers. I don’t know if he and the Packers will make peace...With most players, I’d think, They’ll get over it. It’ll get fixed. Not so sure with Rodgers. He’s strong-willed, to put it mildly, and when he decides to do something, that’s usually it."

To put it lightly, this is a pretty strong take on the situation. Rodgers is known to be one of those players that speaks his mind freely. The situation in Green Bay has been frustrating and understandably so. Still, that hasn't been helped with Rodgers taking a less-than-diplomatic approach to things.

Let's not forget his comments about the Packers cutting Jake Kumerow, a player that wasn't making huge headlines on the field.

The Green Bay situation is volatile. If Rodgers stays, then this team could easily compete for a Super Bowl in 2021. FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Packers' Super Bowl odds set at +1700. If Rodgers was to find himself on another team, expect those odds to drop drastically.
