The Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs have again looked the part this season. They look poised to make another deep postseason run. This is due to the MVP-like play from quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who could accomplish another large feat this season.

In fact, he's on track to shatter an insane record that was set by Tom Brady.

The fewest interceptions thrown in a season with 30 passing touchdowns is four, which was done by Brady in 2010. He finished the season with 36 touchdowns and four interceptions, to be exact. Currently, Mahomes has 31 touchdowns with just two interceptions. Both of these interceptions came in matchups against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Even if Mahomes tosses two more interceptions to tie Brady at four, the Chiefs quarterback is on pace to shatter the touchdown total. Mahomes is currently on pace for just north of 41 passing touchdowns, which is comfortably ahead of Brady's mark.

With games remaining against the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers, these games should be competitive and offer Mahomes the opportunity to keep slinging it. Since just one team secures a first-round bye for the AFC this season, the likelihood of Mahomes playing in Week 17 is also high.
