The Carolina Panthers' pass rush took a big hit this offseason when Haason Reddick left for the Philadelphia Eagles. The newly re-signed Marquis Haynes Sr. could help pick up some of the slack with more playing time, though he's not expected to be Reddick's direct replacement.

It turns out Carolina will meet with a two-time Pro Bowler on Monday who could immediately step in to fill the gap on the edge.

Carlos Dunlap Panthers

Carlos Dunlap is scheduled to visit the Panthers on Monday. Dunlap's hometown of North Charleston, South Carolina, is nearby, so the potential to be close to family could certainly sway him at this stage in his career.

The 12-year veteran has been nothing short of productive after turning 30 years old, showcasing he still has enough in the tank to make a real difference for a team's pass rush. He's managed to record 23.5 sacks over the last three seasons while splitting his time with two different teams.

Dunlap is coming off of an 8.5-sack campaign for the Seattle Seahawks in 2021, adding 8 tackles for loss and 14 QB hits.

Adding an experience and proven talent like Dunlap would be a huge boost to this defense after suffering a massive loss in the trenches.
