Odds for Team With Worst Regular Season Record Heavily Favor the Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars appear to be headed for a tough season ahead. After going 6-10 in 2019, offseason departures and a lack of depth mean Jacksonville is likely to regress in 2020.
Currently at FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars' win total projection sits at five games and they are also "favored" to have the worst record in the NFL at +250.

2020 NFL Worst Record Odds
The Jaguars are well ahead of the competition to have the worst record in the NFL next season. At +250, they have an implied probability of 28.57% to be the worst team. The next closest teams, the Washington Redskins (+600), Cincinnati Bengals (+700) and Carolina Panthers (+700) all trail by a good margin.
Jacksonville finished 28th in Football Outsiders' DVOA last year, but it collapsed down the stretch and made almost no moves in free agency other than signing linebacker Joe Schobert. While Gardner Minshew II has some promising skills, he's still projected to be a below-average quarterback next year and has very few reliable weapons surrounding him.
The Jaguars did have a decent NFL Draft, taking cornerback C.J. Henderson and talented wide receiver Laviska Shenault, but those picks were far from enough to turn the ship around. There is also serious uncertainty surrounding star running back Leonard Fournette, whose fifth-year option won't be picked up after the season.

If you think the Jaguars are going to be historically abysmal, you can even get them at +3000 to finish the season 0-16. That might be a bit much, but there are no signs that the Jaguars are planning to contend in 2020. Tanking for someone like Trevor Lawrence may be their best play in the long-term.
