The NFL Trade Deadline started off with a bang on Thursday night as the San Francisco 49ers unloaded future draft capital to land star running back Christian McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers. This is likely just the first of many important deals to come through before Nov. 1's official deadline.

NFL insiders over at The Athletic made a list of one player most likely to be dealt from all 32 teams. And the pick for the Las Vegas Raiders is shocking.

Team insider Vic Tafur pegged running back Josh Jacobs as the most likely trade candidate despite being one of the "Raiders' best players" in 2022. The fourth-year back is off to a ferocious start, tallying back-to-back 140+ rushing yard games in Weeks 4 and 5, and has quickly added 3 TDs and 619 yards from scrimmage.

On the heels of a bye week, Tafur's reasoning stems mostly from the Raiders' terrible start. At just 1-4, Las Vegas is drowning in the tough AFC West and thinks GM Dave Ziegler may look ahead to the future. Tafur calls Jacobs "one of very few tradable assets" on the roster and thinks the face that new management passed on picking up his fifth-year option was a telling sign.

Only time will tell if the Raiders can get a deal done. Jacobs is a valuable asset for teams in look of a starting-caliber RB, like the Atlanta Falcons or Los Angeles Rams. Tafur goes on to note, if the Raiders can take care of business against the Texas and Saints in the next two weeks, and move to 3-4, "then forget you ever read this."

For now, the Raiders hold just +7000 odds to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
