Boston Red Sox fans aren't too happy with Scott Boras right now.

It was bad enough that he helped longtime Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts land an 11-year, $275 million deal with the San Diego Padres. Then he helped their biggest rivals acquire a new ace from the confines of Fenway Park, essentially kicking Boston fans while they were down.

Boras was in Boston on Thursday to help the Red Sox formally introduce his client, Japanese outfielder Masataka Yoshida, at Fenway Park. Moments after the press conference ended and still inside the stadium, Boras finalized Carlos Rodon's six-year, $162 million contract with the New York Yankees, all while snacking on food provided by Red Sox staff.

For Red Sox fans, this is just more salt in the wound and the latest embarrassment in an offseason that's been full of them. The team has already missed out on several of its main targets such as Jose Abreu and Zach Eflin, failed to re-sign Bogaerts, overpaid for Yoshida, and now this. The hits just keep coming.

Boston will be seeing a lot of Rodon over the next few years, making this story sting even more. The team and its fans will always remember exactly where Boras was when he sealed the deal between the Yankees and Rodon.
