NBA DFS 3/3/2022
Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Thursday, 3/3, NBA DFS action.
FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 3/3
Dejounte Murray Fantasy
Target Dejounte Murray, PG/SG, San Antonio Spurs ($9,600): Dejounte Murray is in a delicious spot on Thursday. The Sacramento Kings not only surrender the second-most points per game in the league, they also rank in the top 10 for most opponent assists and rebounds allowed per contest. Sacramento and San Antonio are in the top seven for pace as well, meaning there'll be plenty of possessions in a game between two struggling squads. That puts Murray in prime position to record triple-double No. 13 on Thursday.
Pascal Siakam Fantasy
Target Pascal Siakam, PF, Toronto Raptors ($8,100): Pascal Siakam can't ask for a better bounce-back opportunity than the one he has tonight. Siakam's uncharacteristic average of 30.3 FanDuel fantasy points over the last four games has lowered his salary, presenting some value to take advantage of. He draws the Detroit Pistons on Thursday, who give up the fifth-most PPG and seventh-most RPG to opponents. Siakam has bullied Detroit in two previous meetings this season, averaging 24.0 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists against them so far. All signs point to a boom from the Raptors big man tonight.
Delon Wright Fantasy
Target Delon Wright, PG/SG, Atlanta Hawks ($3,800): Trae Young being questionable for Thursday's game makes Delon Wright a serious bargain candidate. Wright has averaged 16.5 minutes, 3.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.9 steals in 51 games with Young in the lineup this season. Without Young, Wright's numbers balloon to 33.8 MPG, 10.6 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 4.6 APG and 2.0 SPG. His do-it-all skill set makes him an incredibly attractive fantasy asset when the minutes are there.
Kevin Durant Fantasy
Avoid Kevin Durant, SF/PF, Brooklyn Nets ($10,400): Kevin Durant is expected to make his long-awaited return on Thursday. That doesn't mean you need to play him in your lineups, though. Even a generational scorer like Durant will have some inevitable rust to shake off after missing 21 straight games. And with it being nearly two months since he last took the floor, it wouldn't be surprising to see Brooklyn put him on a minutes restriction, limiting his upside on Thursday. The Miami Heat are also a top-six team in defensive rating, so this is by no means a favorable matchup.
Nikola Vucevic Fantasy
Avoid Nikola Vucevic, C, Chicago Bulls ($8,500): Nikola Vucevic has struggled over his past two games. Vucevic's high during this recent stretch is just 27.4 fantasy points, failing to overcome matchups against strong frontcourts in Memphis and Miami. Vuecvic is also dealing with a sprained ankle he picked up late against the Grizzlies, which clearly limited his effectiveness on the boards (7 rebounds) against the Heat. Things won't get any easier on Thursday facing the Atlanta Hawks, who hold opponents to the 10th-fewest RPG. Vooch can underwhelm against talented opposing big men, and Clint Capela (12.1 RPG) presents a serious threat to his fantasy production tonight.
