The 2021 NFL Draft is almost here and one prospect that is seemingly climbing up all draft board is Michigan defensive end Kwity Paye. Paye totaled 97 tackles (23.5 for loss) and 11.5 sacks over the course of four seasons (28 games) with the Wolverines.

Paye has the size and athleticism that makes him a likely candidate to break out at the next level and every team could use that kind of player on the roster. With that in mind, here are three of the most likely teams to draft Paye.

Kwity Paye Draft Predictions

1. New York Giants (No. 11)

The New York Giants could go a number of different ways with this pick, but Paye remains a top option for them. He showed consistency in college and has the versatility to take over an edge role on this defensive line. In fact, the Giants only had 4 sacks come from an edge defender in the 2020 season. Paye's ability to push the pocket and disrupt opposing backfields could bring this defense to another level. He would fit in well with starters like linebacker Blake Martinez and defensive end Leonard Williams.

2. Minnesota Vikings (No. 14)

This is a sneaky good spot for Paye to end up at and the Minnesota Vikings could take a chance on him in the first round. Paye would make an immediate impact along this defensive line as his frame and gameplay is very similar to a Viking great in Everson Griffen. Paye gives his best effort with every snap of the football and the Vikings could use a player like that after posting poor pass rush numbers last season. They averaged just 1.4 sacks per game on defense, which was tied for the 4th-fewest in the NFL.

3. Miami Dolphins (No. 18)

If Paye is still there in the late teens, it would make a lot of sense for him to wind up with the Miami Dolphins. It isn't hard to see that the Dolphins could use some help on the defensive line and Paye would bring a much-needed burst off the edge. Lining him up on the other side of starter Emmanuel Ogbah would create an intriguing duo for Miami. With the Dolphins expected to take an offensive player at No. 6 overall, Paye could the perfect prospect for them at No. 18.
