3 Most Likely Bradley Beal Trade Destinations

The NBA offseason is now underway and a name to keep in mind regarding trade discussions is Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal. The three-time All-Star has made it clear that he wants to play for a contending team and the Wizards would be able to get a massive package in return if they cashed in.
However, not every team is going to be interested if the 28-year-old hits the trading block as he is due over $71 million over the next two seasons. With that in mind, here are three of the most likely trade destinations for Beal.
Bradley Beal Trade
1. Golden State Warriors
Recent reports claim the Golden State Warriors are going to make a push to acquire Beal and the pairing makes a lot of sense. The Warriors have the young players needed to entice the Wizards including the likes of Andrew Wiggins and James Wiseman. Beal has averaged at least 30.5 points in each of the last two seasons and having him join Steph Curry and Klay Thompson would make for a scary starting trio. The Warriors failed to advance out of the play-in tournament this past season, but adding Beal to the mix would make them immediate contenders for another NBA title.
2. Portland Trail Blazers
Another team seemingly on the brink of having legitimate NBA Championship hopes is the Portland Trail Blazers. They have lost in the first round in each of the last two playoffs and are likely looking to shake things up. One way Portland could do that is by dealing sharpshooter C.J. McCollum to the Wizards in order to create a new starting backcourt of Damian Lillard and Beal. This would be an all-in kind of move from the front office, but it has become clear that Lillard needs a better supporting cast if he is going to lead the city to a title.
3. New York Knicks
This offseason is going to be dominated by storylines about the New York Knicks. The team has upwards of $60 million available to spend and the pressure to do something from its passionate fan base. The Knicks surprised a lot of people by securing the No. 4 seed in the playoffs last season. Although, that also means there will be expectations to succeed next year as well. Finding a way to trade for Beal would open up a lot of opportunities for the Knicks' offense. It would take some of the attention away from big man Julius Randle while also giving the team another star.
