After a long wait and several landscape-changing developments this offseason, baseball is finally back.

The New York Yankees (+600) are the preseason favorites to win the World Series in 2019, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, but there are plenty of other teams more than capable of winning it all this upcoming season. That being said, it never hurts to consult a few experts before making your pick.

Here are a few expert opinions as to who will take it all this upcoming baseball season.

Fangraphs

Fangraphs is staying out of the AL East and finally giving the Astros the edge. According to their projections, Houston has an 18 percent chance to win it all. The Yankees, however, come in a very close second with a 17.7 percent chance.

Sports Chat Place

Sports Chat Place's Randy Chambers agrees with FanDuel Sportsbook as to who will win the World Series this upcoming season, having the Yankees at the very top of his Week 1 MLB Power Rankings. He also notes that bettors should keep an eye out on a dangerous, now-healthy Houston Astros (+650) squad.

Cappers Picks

The staff at Cappers Picks is bucking the initial trend here and predicts the Boston Red Sox are likely to repeat in 2019. It's worth noting, however, that they give the Astros (7/1) the exact same odds to win it all as well.

Yardbarker

The staff over at Yardbarker doesn't have a clear-cut favorite heading into the season, but rather a three-way tie between the Astros, Red Sox and Yankees to win the World Series. All three teams currently have +600 odds to win it all.

Knup Sports

The Knup Sports staff seemingly agrees with Yardbarker's initial odds to win the World Series, also giving Houston, Boston, and New York +600 odds to take home the Commissioner's Trophy.

It doesn't look like there's a clear-cut favorite among experts as we head into the regular season, but betting on either the Astros, Yankees or Red Sox looks like the safest bet. Or at least betting on an AL team.

Then again, while those three slug it out, a team in the NL could sweep in and shock us all by winning the World Series.
