The MLB offseason has brought plenty of personnel and front office changes for the Detroit Tigers. It's also brought news of outfield dimension tweaks that will be implemented in 2023.

It's safe to say Tigers legend Miguel Cabrera seems particularly happy with the adjustments.

Cabrera weighed in on the outfield changes on the Tigers' Instagram post that announced the news. He jokingly said, "Now I want to play more years" with several laughing emojis.

it's hilarious to see this switch forcing Miggy to reconsider his playing future. It's widely expected the 2023 season will be his last, but perhaps Detroit's move will coax a few more years out of him.

The Tigers' dimensions changes should have an impact at the previously pitcher-friendly park. Center field will be moved in from 422 feet to 412, and the wall will be lowered from 8.5 feet to 7. The right-center field wall is also being lowered from 13 feet to 7. The left field corner, meanwhile, has gone from 345 feet to 342.

The right-handed Cabrera stands to benefit from these tweaks. Hopefully, it allows him to finish out his career with a bang in 2023.
