At this point, anyone with an understanding of football knows that Matt Ryan is a top-10 quarterback. That might even be an understatement, as Pro Football Focus has ranked him as a top-seven passer in four consecutive seasons, including two back-to-back, top-two campaigns (2016-17).
However, it seems as if Ryan's peers don't see him that way, as Ryan was inexplicably snubbed from the NFL's Top 100 list.
There were 13 quarterbacks that appeared in the NFL top 100. At best, that means Ryan was ranked as the 14th-best passer in football. He's ranked behind Josh Allen, Kirk Cousins, Kyler Murray and Ryan Tannehill. No disrespect to any of those players, but that's obviously laughable.
In fact, Ryan didn't even crack the top-10 honorable mentions, so NFL players don't even view him as a top-110 player in the league, either.
Ryan is unequivocally one of the best passers in football. The fact that he didn't even appear on the NFL 100 makes it difficult to take anything else on the list even remotely seriously.
