Marlon Mack Injury Update Clouds Week 5 Fantasy Outlook
By Max Staley

Entering Week 4, Marlon Mack had been one of the most productive running backs in fantasy. However, the Oakland Raiders surprisingly stymied the Indianapolis Colts' offensive attack, holding Mack to just 39 rushing yards on 11 attempts.
To make matters worse, Mack left the game with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter and never returned to the field.
Marlon Mack's dealing with an ankle injury. Questionable return.

He was listed as questionable to return, which is a positive sign, but it's tough to know what to make of this injury. Mack had been dealing with a calf injury, which caused him to miss two practices, prior to Week 3, so adding another ailment can't be a positive.
Mack's fantasy owners are certainly hoping he can return for Week 5, as the Colts' offense draws what looks to be a great matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs' defense.
Marlon Mack (ankle) told @WISH_TV it was “coach’s decision” to keep him on the sideline for most of the second half. Only had 2 carries after half. Expects to be fine for Kansas City next week. pic.twitter.com/xI42d8IYj1

Kansas City has surrendered 599 yards on the ground through four weeks, which is the second-worst total in the NFL, so if Mack is active, he has a good shot at a bounce-back game in Week 5. We currently have Mack listed as the RB16 in our Week 5 PPR rankings.
Fantasy owners would be wise to monitor Mack's status throughout the week. If it looks like Mack will miss Week 5, then Jordan Wilkins would instantly become a valuable waiver wire pickup.
