Mark Walton got only two games as the Miami Dolphins' lead back, with the trade of Kenyan Drake, as the running back was suspended for four games on Monday afternoon.

That leaves Kalen Ballage as the last man standing on the Dolphins depth chart. As the de facto lead back, ahead of Patrick Laird and Myles Gaskin, Ballage's fantasy outlook gets a boost until Walton returns.
Walton looked set to take over as a workhorse with Drake gone. The 87 percent snap share he saw in Week 8 was the highest single-game mark for any Dolphins' RB on the year, and he followed that up with a 74 percent share in Week 9. He racked up 23 carries and 10 targets in those two games, building on the 14 carries and one target he saw when he started to overtake Drake in Week 7.
While Ballage seems to be the only legitimate option for Miami, he hasn't shown much this season, averaging a putrid 2.0 yards per carry on 35 rushes, while adding four receptions for 40 yards on 12 targets.
The Dolphins' backfield is now barren, though, and they will have little choice but to feature Ballage in a lead role, as he's the only tailback on the roster to play a single snap this season.
Ballage won't offer any efficiency in one of the league's worst offenses, but with Walton vacating an average of 16.0 opportunities per game over the last three weeks, he should inherit enough volume to be a reasonable high-floor, low-ceiling fantasy RB moving forward. Consider him as a Week 10 waiver wire target, if you're hurting for running back depth.
