After three games on Thanksgiving Day, the majority or NFL teams have five games left on their schedule. And while we know that a lot can change between now and Week 17, Lamar Jackson remains the odds-on favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, heading into the Baltimore Ravens' Week 13 showdown with the San Francisco 49ers.
Jackson, who sits at -220, is tied for the NFL lead with 24 touchdown passes, along with Seattle Seahawks' quarterback Russell Wilson, who just so happens to be second in the MVP odds at +270. While Wilson is leading Jackson by more than 500 passing yards (2,937 to 2,427), the second-year signal-caller out of Louisville has a massive lead in rushing yards (876 to 271) and twice as many rushing TDs (six to three) on the year.
Deshaun Watson remains third in NFL MVP race, at +1200 odds, with the Houston Texans set for a Week 13 contest with the AFC-leading New England Patriots on "Sunday Night Football."
Despite missing two games with an ankle injury, reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes is fourth in the odds at +2300. The Kansas City Chiefs have a home date with the Oakland Raiders in Week 13, and can all but lock up the AFC West division crown with a victory. Mahomes is having another stellar season, with 19 TDs and just two interceptions.
Aaron Rodgers saw his MVP odds drop to +3400 after a rough Week 12 road loss to the San Francisco 49ers. In the defeat, Rodgers threw for just 104 passing yards, while getting sacked five times. He is tied in MVP odds with Kirk Cousins, who is quietly having a career year from an efficiency standpoint.
With both the NFL season and the MVP race in the final stretch, it looks like Jackson's award to lose at this point.
