VIDEO: Kobe Bryant's Comments on Ben Simmons Still Ring True Today

After Los Angeles Lakers and NBA legend Kobe Bryant retired following the 2015-16 season, he entered a unique stage of his life. Among his post-career ventures included speaking at numerous events around the world and various press apperances with media outlets.
With his astonishing 18-time NBA All-Star and Hall of Fame career, it was always enjoyable to hear Kobe's thoughts on the current NBA landscape. When Kobe spoke, people listened. His wisdom and knowledge of the game was simply incredible.
Sadly, Bryant is no longer with us. But, after Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers' epic collapse in this year's NBA Playoffs, an old video began circling the internet. The video features an old interview answer from Bryant regarding the talented Simmons.

In the answer, Bryant urges Simmons to work on developing a jump-shot. The crowd erupts in laughter, but Bryant remains serious in his response. He even describes how Simmons will regret it after he's done playing if he never can develop that part of the game. "It's astonishing what he's done without it," said Bryant.
Fast forward to present day and 76ers fans are still reeling from this early playoff exit. The fact that Simmons still hasn't developed this jump shot hasn't been more clear.
