The Cleveland Browns' campaign reached another low with a 39-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. Instead of pinning the sixth loss of the year on the players, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski took responsibility for his team's shortcomings, making it clear that the entire coaching staff's work hasn't been good enough.

Cleveland Browns News

Stefanski has made it clear that the Browns coaches "need to come up with a better game plan," as per team insider Mary Kay Cabot. He included himself in that statement, displaying a level of accountability that Cleveland needs right now.

The Dolphins outclassed and outplayed the Browns in just about every facet on Sunday. Miami put up 491 total yards to Cleveland's 297, scoring five touchdowns on the day and finding points on all but two of its nine drives.

The blowout loss also marks the third time in the last five games that the Browns gave up 30-plus points. They've actually lost every game since Week 2 where they've allowed at least 23 points, playing a big role in the organization owning the NFL's second-worst scoring (26.4 PPG).

Time will tell how the coaches fix the defense, but the offense is getting a boost soon. Quarterback Deshaun Watson returned to practice on Monday and is eligible to in Week 13. If he hasn't lost a step, he'll be an upgrade over Jacoby Brissett, however, it's important to remember that Watson hasn't played real football in nearly two seasons.

Unfortunately for the Browns, their season might be too far gone for Watson to save. Their next two games are against the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, making it entirely possible that they'll be 3-8 before he takes to the field. Hopefully, Stefanski and co. can get things back on track soon.

Browns vs Bills Odds

Oddsmakers don't have much faith in Cleveland turning its season around in Week 11, at least. FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Bills as considerable 9.5-point home favorites over the Browns ahead of Sunday.
