Kareem Hunt was suspended eight games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy after a TMZ video in which he could be seen assaulting a woman was released in February of 2018.

As a result, Hunt hasn't seen the field in a regular-season NFL game since Week 11 of last season, and missed the Browns' first eight games of the year.

When Does Kareem Hunt Come Back

Hunt will be back on the field in Week 10 when the Browns take on the Buffalo Bills, but exactly how he fits into the team's offense has yet to be determined.

Kareem Hunt Fantasy Value

While Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens said that Hunt will "definitely have a role," his fantasy owners would be wise to take a wait-and-see approach when it comes to the back. Hunt is unlikely to hold much standalone value in standard leagues, and is best viewed as a handcuff for Cleveland's top RB, Nick Chubb.

Chubb has been a true workhorse for the Browns, playing at least 60 percent of Cleveland's snaps in each game this season. Even with Hunt back in the fray, Chubb will almost certainly remain the team's top option in the running game.

However, Hunt does have a chance to become a viable FLEX option in PPR formats. While Chubb has been a decent pass-catcher, recording at least four receptions in two of the last three games, he hasn't reached 50 receiving yards in a single game over the past two seasons.

Hunt, meanwhile, racked up 458 receiving yards as a rookie in 2017, and was on a 16-game pace to reach 550 receiving yards through 11 games with the Chiefs last season.

While Hunt will likely take away some of Chubb's work in the passing game, the Browns' bellcow back should still be viewed as an RB1 moving forward. Hunt will be a top handcuff, but could be playable with 14 teams on bye over the next three weeks.
