JuJu Smith-Schuster Injury Update Clouds Week 12 Fantasy Outlook

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was not able to finish the team's Week 11 game due to an ankle issue. While it didn't appear to be anything serious, as head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed in the press conference, the Steelers have a quick turnaround this week with a Thursday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens.
That means JuJu could be facing an uphill battle to get healthy by Thanksgiving.

The fact that Tomlin confirmed it isn't serious is certainly a good sign for JuJu's health moving forward. At worst, it looks like he'd only miss one week, and he absolutely still has a chance to play in Week 12.
It's a shame that it's in question at all, though, as the Steelers' wideout was really starting to turn it on. After averaging just 38.8 receiving yards per game over his first five outings, JuJu had averaged 80.5 receiving yards per contest over his last four games prior to Week 11.
If he's active, the fourth-year wideout would settle in as a decent WR3 option against a stout Ravens' defense. But if he's out, Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool could be looking at a sizable uptick in volume on Thanksgiving.
It'll be crucial for JuJu's fantasy managers to monitor Pittsburgh's practice reports throughout the week.
