Josh Jacobs has had a tremendous rookie season and he is currently the odds-on favorite to win the 2019 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Jacobs' status for his team's Week 14 matchup with the Tennessee Titans was cloudy through this entire week, even changing from a game-time decision to likely playing just hours prior to kickoff. However, it is now being reported that the Oakland Raiders' rookie running back will not play Sunday as he continues to battle a shoulder fracture.

The injury was first announced Wednesday, when it was revealed that Jacobs had been playing through the fracture since Week 7. While he's been able to tolerate the pain in the past two months, and post big rushing numbers, the injury appears to have caught up with Jacobs heading into the Raiders' home tilt with the Titans.

DeAndre Washington or Jalen Richard Fantasy

Behind Jacobs in the Raiders' backfield, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard now get a bump in fantasy value ahead of Oakland's 4:25 p.m. EST kickoff. Richard serves as more of a pass-catching back than Washington, but neither has done much to impress in limited roles this season. In deeper PPR leagues, fantasy owners might want to lean toward Richard, but Washington is likely the better option in standard scoring.

Now that we know Jacobs will not be gutting it out Sunday, neither Washington nor Richard make for great backup options from a fantasy streaming perspective. Prior to being ruled out of Week 14, Jacobs was the No. 9 RB in our Week 14 PPR rankings.
