Josh Gordon Suspension Erases Season-Long Fantasy Football Value

Josh Gordon has been suspended once again. The mercurial wide receiver has was suspended indefinitely on Monday due to a violating the NFL's policies on substance abuse and performance-enhancing substances, leaving his NFL future in doubt.

Josh Gordon Suspension

Gordon had been with the Seattle Seahawks recently, after being released by the New England Patriots earlier in the year. While he had shown flashes in both Seattle and New England, this suspension completely erases his fantasy value.

He will finish his 2019 campaign with 27 receptions for 426 receiving yards and a touchdown.

This is also certainly a blow to the Seahawks, as he had explosive moments catching passes from Russell Wilson, most recently catching a 58-yard bomb in Week 15. The loss of Gordon will have an immediate impact on the team's depth at the position and could effect how teams game plan against Seattle moving forward.

Why is Josh Gordon Suspended?

The exact reason for Gordon's most recent suspension has yet to be made clear, but hopefully he can find a way to put this latest infraction behind him and get back on the field soon, however, as of now, it's not looking too good.
