Jim Harbaugh continues to garner interest this NFL offseason as a possible head-coaching candidate. The latest team to inquire about Harbaugh's availability is the Minnesota Vikings, who are in the middle of a search for Mike Zimmer's replacement.

Harbaugh is currently the coach at Michigan, but a buyout wouldn't be too costly if he wants to make the jump again.

Harbaugh would owe the Wolverines $1.5 million if he decides to pursue another opportunity. That's certainly a fortune for most people, but it'd be a small price to pay for the coach to return to the pro level.

The former quarterback enjoyed plenty of success in his first NFL head-coaching stint, making three conference championship games and a Super Bowl appearance in 2013 with the San Francisco 49ers. Harbaugh's worst finish was 8-8, which is a feat most coaches could only dream of.

Harbaugh would inject plenty of energy and passion into the Vikings if he does ultimately get the job. It's clear this team had hit its ceiling with Zimmer, and a new voice could push stars like Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson to the next level.

Harbaugh's connection with new Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, whom he worked with in San Francisco, could prove pivotal in swaying the successful collegiate coach to the NFL once again.
