The Detroit Lions made a surprising move on Tuesday when they traded former No. 3 overall pick cornerback Jeff Okudah to the Atlanta Flacons in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick.

Okudah came into the league as highly touted as a corner could be, but injuries and poor play have him falling way short of his expectations up to this point in his career. Detroit decided it was time to move on.

Okudah had a curious response to the trade, tweeting a simple side-eye emoji, leaving plenty up for interpretation. Is he happy and excited about the move? Does he welcome it? Does he feel slighted by Detroit? All of these possibilities are on the table.

What we do know is Okudah is now a member of the Falcons and the Lions have an extra draft pick to work with heading into April's draft.
