Jamie Collins and the New England Patriots can never stay separated for too long.
Collins, 33, is currently in his fourth stint with New England. After signing with the team's practice squad in early October, he's being elevated to the active roster for Week 7's Monday Night Football showdown with the Chicago Bears.

Now in his 10th NFL season, Collins was originally drafted in the second round by the Patriots back in 2013. His first stint with the team was the longest, as he spent the first 3 1/2 years of his career with New England before being traded to the Cleveland Browns midway through the 2016 campaign.
Collins stayed with the Browns through 2018 before returning to the Patriots in 2019. After moving on to the Detroit Lions in 2020, he found his way back to New England in 2021 after the Lions released him early in the season. Unable to find a new team this past offseason, he reunited with the Patriots once again.
The former Pro Bowler clearly enjoys playing for New England, otherwise he wouldn't keep coming back. The relationship is mutual, too, otherwise Bill Belichick wouldn't keep bringing him back.
The veteran linebacker will try to help the Patriots win their third straight game with a home win over the Bears on Monday. New England is favored by 8.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
