There have been a number of major free agent acquisitions this offseason, but there are also some big name players left out on the market. One of those names is Jadeveon Clowney, a powerful EDGE that racked up 19 tackles (4 for loss) and 4 pass breakups in eight games last season.

With the NFL Draft quickly approaching, it's important for free agents to sign before teams decide to address their roster needs with rookies instead. With that in mind, here are three of the most likely free agent destinations for Jadeveon Clowney.

1. Seattle Seahawks

It wouldn't be surprising to see Clowney reunite with the Seattle Seahawks. Clowney made an impact on that defense in 2019 by posting 3.0 sacks, forcing 4 fumbles and even logging an interception. The Seahawks recently signed veteran Carlos Dunlap and could create an intriguing one-two punch by lining Clowney up alongside him. Plus, Clowney likely wants to sign with a contender at this point in his career and Seattle has made the playoffs in eight of the last nine seasons.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars

Another route Clowney could take is signing with the upstart Jacksonville Jaguars, While they are likely not an immediate Super Bowl contender, the Jaguars could outbid any other NFL team when it comes to bringing Clowney in. New head coach Urban Meyer has already expressed his desire to build a strong defensive line and he could do that by adding this former No. 1 overall pick to the mix. Clowney's veteran presence could also draw some attention away and let the young pass rushers on the team shine.

3. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts already have a top-10 defense in the NFL, but imagine if they signed Clowney and took things to another level. Having Clowney play with a powerhouse defender in DeForest Buckner would create nightmares for opposing offensive lines. It wouldn't cost too much to sign Clowney and he would likely be open to taking a short-term deal to join a contender like Indianapolis. The Colts already made one big move this offseason acquiring quarterback Carson Wentz, so don't be surprised if they make another one here.
