The fireworks have been cooking up for a classic AFC North rivalry clash between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens during Wild Card Weekend. The two rivals will meet for a second straight week after their regular season finale, one in which things got a little chippy between the two sides.
Cincinnati players have been vocally upset about some "dirty" play from the Ravens side in Week 18, and now star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has issued an ominous warning to the other side.
The message was simple, but scary. Chase indicated there "will be get backs" for "some of the things the Ravens were doing to him on Sunday," according to team insider Jeremy Rauch.
It's not exactly clear what those "get backs" will be, but the two sides should be in for another physical affair.
Cincinnati and Baltimore don't like each other. Adding playoff intensity to a fierce rivalry only sweetens the deal.
For now, the Bengals are hoping to get the last laugh. They're considered 8.5-point home favorites on Sunday, according to NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
