Last year, the Cleveland Indians missed the playoffs for the first time since 2015. The Indians will be hoping to take down the Minnesota Twins by improving on their 93-69 record. The oddsmakers project them to regress slightly in 2020, but they still have an outside shot at making the postseason.

With that in mind, here's a full preview of the Indians' 2020 MLB season potential outcomes and projected achievements, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Indians Win Total

Under the assumption that 162 regular-season games would be played during the 2020 MLB season, the Indians were originally projected to win 87.5 games, with -110 odds on the over and -110 on the under. That 87.5-win mark is tied with the Chicago Cubs and New York Mets for 11th-highest in baseball.

Indians Odds to Win AL Central

The Indians are second in the division with +290 odds of winning the AL Central crown. Those +290 odds reflect an implied probability of a 25.64 percent shot to win the division this year.

The Indians' odds to win the AL Central are ahead of the Chicago White Sox (+340), Detroit Tigers (+15000), and Kansas City Royals (+15000). Cleveland trails the Minnesota Twins (-160).

Indians Odds to Win AL Pennant

Although the Indians have the second-best odds to win their division, they have the sixth-best odds to win the American League pennant at +1400. They sit behind the New York Yankees (+165), Houston Astros (+370), Minnesota Twins (+750), Tampa Bay Rays (+850), and Oakland Athletics (+1300). Those +1400 odds reflect an implied probability of an 6.67 percent chance to win the ALCS and advance to the World Series.

Indians Odds to Win World Series

The Indians are a longshot to win the World Series title this year. Cleveland currently boasts the 12th-best odds to win the 2020 World Series at +2800, tied with the Chicago Cubs (+2800). Those +2800 odds reflect an implied probability of a 3.45 percent chance of winning the World Series.
