Ian Happ Tweets Hilarious Reaction to Jameson Taillon Signing

The Chicago Cubs made an important move to bolster their starting rotation on Tuesday night. Chicago signed former New York Yankee Jameson Taillon to a four-year deal worth $68 million. He re-joins the NL Central after beginning his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
One Cubs player was particularly excited about the new addition. Outfielder Ian Happ tweeted his initial reaction to the Taillon news, taking on a hilarious angle to explain why he's so excited.
We’re going to be so caffeinated this year @JTaillon50! Huge addition to the pitching staff huge add for coffee drinkers everywhere!

Happ explained his excitement to be "so caffeinated this year" and calls Taillon a "huge addition" not only for the coaching staff, "but for coffee drinkers everywhere!"
The veteran Cubbie is well-known for his love of drinking coffee. In fact, Happ invested in Connect Roasters (a coffee brand) back in 2020. Taillon is another well-known MLB coffee drinker, having kept his own coffee blog and reports suggest he's "obsessed" with coffee.
Happ summed this up well. Teaming up with Taillon is a big win for coffee drinkers everywhere. The hope is that Taillon can add some more wins to the Cubs' win-loss record. He went 14-5 with a 3.91 ERA in 2022.
